Please Note:
Completing the online enrollment does not “reserve a spot” for your student in your resident/neighborhood school. Staff must confirm all information and will contact you with next steps and it is important that you respond to staff as quickly as you are able.
A number of Castro Valley schools experience space limitations which can result in students being unable to attend their neighborhood school. If the number of enrollment applications exceeds the number of spaces in a particular grade level at a school during the open enrollment period, a random, unbiased lottery will be held to assign spaces and to create a waitlist in accordance with CVUSD Board Policy and Administrative Regulation 5116.1.
IMPORTANT: Continuing CVUSD students DO NOT need to complete this online enrollment Process. This includes those students transferring from TK to Kindergarten, or from 8th grade to CVHS, or from 5th grade to Canyon/Creekside Middle Schools.
